World Congress of Dermoscopy 2012
The 3rd World Congress of Dermoscopy - Thursday 17 to Saturday 19 May 2012, Brisbane
This will be the first meeting of the Congress held in the southern hemishpere. The Congress will be a showcase for discussion of new developments in the area of dermoscopy, with a special focus on the diagnosis of skin tumours and new applications of the technique. The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the present and future of dermoscopy, as well as to extend your knowledge in specific areas such as dermoscopy of nails, dermoscopy of non-tumour disorders and the relevance of vessels.
This event will attract not only dermatologists from overseas and Australasia, but also skin cancer doctors and GPs with an interest in skin cancer medicine from Australia and New Zealand. Sessions dedicated to the application of dermoscopy within a primary care setting will be presented by Fellows of the Skin Cancer College.

Introduction to Cosmetic Medicine
This 3 day course is presented by Mondeal Aesthetics and designed for injectors and practice managers who are new to Cosmetic Medicine.
Facilitators and injecting trainers include practitioners who are expert trainers as well as leaders in the Australian industry. The workshop provides practical information on setting up a successful cosmetic medical practice, risk management and the national standards as well as hands-on injecting techniques for dermal fillers and botulinum toxin.
A practice manager’s workshop is also offered on day one to assist with activity from successfully introducing dermal fillers into your practice to front desk training.

Australian Diploma of Dermatology
This Diploma in Dermatology is provided through the resources of the Australian Institute of Dermatology. The Diploma covers all aspects of dermatology, using some novel diagnostic algorithms and is delivered over 28 weeks through a series of 14 online modules and a weekend meeting on the Gold Coast at the John Flynn Private Hospital. A feature of the course is its emphasis on practical dermatological diagnosis and treatment.
